Is it ok now to admit I'm terrified of having surgery again? I know compared to my other ones, this should be a no brainer. It's outpatient for heaven's sake! I'm not even going completely under! Just a few little cuts then Dr.C will gently tap the old rod out of my arm, freeing up my elbow. He'll take an x-ray to see how much bone growth I really have, then decide if I need the new, short compression rod put in. If so, maybe one more hole. Get my bearings, feel ok, go home to lay on the recliner.

In one week, I'll be wheeling into the operating room at just about this time. 7:30 surgery. *deep calming breath* I'll be fine. I always am.

Tomorrow is baby day. I'm so eager to meet my new great! I keep breaking into crocodile tears. I was with Oldest Niece last night and she's about as full up with baby as she can be. This time tomorrow she'll be having her c-section. Right now, gut says girl. I've been wrong before though. I don't care, I just want a healthy great and a healthy niece after the delivery.

This month has been a roller coaster hasn't it? Let's pray for a calm December!
