The damn little man at Sparks didn't get 10-5 out the door. I still got a good deal though.

Plus I love my car.

I still feel bad and guilty about the Grand Yam. I sincerely loved that car and loved every mile I put on it (all 118,000+) It served me well and took such good care of me.

I hope I get the same out of this car, but I can honestly say I am so glad I spent a little more money to get the Alero versus the Chevy Malibu. No qualms about the Malibu being a nice car, it's just that my Alero is a nice car. One that I won't cuss about paying for over the next few years.

It's been almost a week now since the fire and all of the drama happened. I still look for my purple car when I walk outside. It's weird to not see him anymore. Weirder to go home and see he'd been towed. Ugh, to be attached to a car is silly, but he was my first taste of independence after my car crash.

I'm hoping for a lot less drama this week. Next Wednesday I get a new great niece/nephew. Won't know until she/he is out which it is though. Tiny inkling in me says girl, but I've been wrong before.

Two weeks from tomorrow I get my rod out. I'm hoping to be back to work the following Monday. I'd rather save my time off for something more enjoyable.

So the goal this week ... NO DRAMA!
